Hop in the car, get out of downtown, and checkout Magazine Street Poboy & Sandwich Shop at the corner of Magazine & 1st. On Mondays the daily special is red beans (of course), but they also make a damn good
poboy. My favorites are the fried shrimp and the near-vegetarian french fry
poboy covered in
american cheese and roast beef gravy. But remember: CASH ONLY.
